LAFAYETTE, La. — The University of Louisiana, Lafayette is considering outsourcing its Parking and Transit Department to the Lafayette Consolidated Government Transit System due to internal thefts, the lack of a director or assistant director, and the practice becoming a trend at many universities for more efficiency, KATC.com reported.
