LONG BEACH, Calif. — A campus transportation official told Daily 49er that in an effort to save money and time, California State University Long Beach Shuttle Services is now made up of three all-campus shuttles that travel on one clockwise route around campus. The schedule replaces another route that consisted of four shuttles, one of which was cut from service.

The new route, which drops students off on the same side of the street, is considered to be safer, since students will no longer be dropped off on the side of the street opposite the school, which meant they had to cross the road before entering the campus again. For the full story, click here.
