First Transit N.Y. universities contract extended

NEW YORK — First Transit’s university shuttle service contract with American Campus Communities was renewed for another five years.

American Campus Communities owns and operates college and university student living complexes throughout North America. The contract will consist of three locations that house students from the University of Buffalo and those in the State of New York University (SUNY) System.

First Transit provides complete operations and transit management services as well as comprehensive preventative maintenance and inspection programs to meet customer transportation and budgetary needs.
