SALT LAKE CITY — A University of Utah spokesperson told The Salt Lake Tribune that the university will begin running a prototype of an electric shuttle bus from campus housing to its main campus in the fall. Meanwhile, officials are planning an extension of the shuttle’s route. Construction on that project is set to begin in late 2014.
