CULLOWHEE, N.C. — Western Carolina University’s (WCU) off-campus Cat-Tran — a free shuttle service for students living off campus — could be cut because of low ridership, according to the Smoky Mountain News.

Although no changes are planned for the upcoming school year, WCU Police Chief Ernie Hudson, who also oversees Cat-Tran, said he will most likely propose cutting the program the following year if ridership doesn’t pick up. For the full story, click here.
