MARIETTA, Ga. — A transportation study caused the cost of a proposed bus system connecting Kennesaw State University with Midtown Atlanta to plunge from $1.1 billion to $494 million, reported the Marietta Daily Journal.

The county’s transportation director said if the Board of Commissioners were to approve the bus plan and the funding fell into place, the system could be operational as early as 2018. For the full story, click here.
