LAFAYETTE, La. — A partnership between the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (UL) and the Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) could result in the addition of five city buses to the university’s shuttle fleet this fall, reported The Advertiser.

If the City-Parish Council approves the agreement between the university and Lafayette Consolidated Government, buses would be leased from LCG and operated by drivers from the UL Operation of Transportation Services in addition to the fleet of 11 buses and three shuttles owned by the university.
