DENTON, Texas — The University of North Texas (UNT) and Texas Woman’s University (TWU) have been more lax when towing vehicles, opting instead to rely on options that are less costly to students and campus visitors, such as ticketing and booting vehicle wheels, the Denton Record-Chronicle reported.

For fiscal year 2014, UNT towed 84 cars and TWU had 11 cars towed. From September 2013 to the end of August 2014, 579 cars were booted at the UNT campus, while only 25 were booted at TWU, which opts to heavily ticket instead. For the full story, click here.
