GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — A survey initiated by the Minneapolis Building and Construction Trades Council found that 57% of participants supported light rail. Those residents were asked to attend the Bottineau Transitway public hearing or call councilmembers to encourage the council to pass a resolution of support for the light rail, reported Golden Valley Patch.

The survey was not scientific, and many who said they were opposed to light rail seem to also be opposed to the survey, according to Mayor Shep Harris. To read the full story, click here.
