Poll: Va. residents support extending light rail

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A poll conducted by 13News, Christopher Newport University and The Virginian-Pilot shows that Virginia Beach residents support a referendum that would extend Hampton Roads Transit’s The Tide light rail to the beach, ABC13WVEC.com reported.

Of the 471 poll respondents, 68% said they would vote in favor of the referendum, 29% said no and 8% were undecided. For the full story, click here.
