NEW HAVEN, Conn. — While waiting for the city to put in a bus shelter so people don’t clog the doorway to his office, a man purchased a cardboard bench from a local seller and attached a red sharpie to encourage graffiti, according to a New Haven Independent report.
Following complaints waged by the man, the city plans to install a bus shelter within the next fiscal year, although a specific timetable has not been set. In the meantime, he has also begun a PayPal account people can contribute to for a temporary bench. For the full story, click here.
