TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) adopted a policy of providing free rides to qualified paratransit customers when they use regular-route buses, toledoBlade.com reported. A TARTA official told toledoBlade.com that the first wave of baby boomers reaching retirement age and an increasing need for paratransit services across the U.S. prompted the decision.
