BOSTON — The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) presented a plan to the agency’s financing board to sell naming rights for 11 stations, making it one of the first transit systems to put station names up for bid, boston.com reported.
Selling the naming rights could bring $18.4 million total a year if 11 prominent stations found sponsors.
