UConn equips shuttles with talking bus feature

STORRS, Conn. — The University of Connecticut equipped its shuttle buses with Safe Turn Alert, a safety feature that “talks” to pedestrians through the buses’ speakers to let them know when a bus is in the process of making a turn, UConn Today reported.
