Dallastown, Penn.-based Trans/Air Manufacturing Corp.  released an informational bulletin called “BTU Ratings – Get Educated!”

The purpose of the bulletin is two-fold. First, it warns consumers about the problems associated with using unsubstantiated, published BTU ratings as buying criteria for bus air conditioning systems. And, more importantly, it educates consumers with objective information on how to evaluate BTU ratings and use performance pull-down criteria as a critical step in specifying bus air conditioning systems.

To view the “BTU Ratings – Get Educated!” informational bulletin, visit www.transairmfg.com. Printable PDF versions can be found under "A/C Buzz" on the homepage as well as in "Customer Support / Support Documents / Systems selection." Printed booklet versions are also available upon request.

Trans/Air Manufacturing Corp. is an ISO 9001-registered firm, manufacturing a full line of climate control systems for the school, commercial, and electric/hybrid vehicle markets. Units, parts, service, training, warranty, and new or aftermarket installations are available through factory-owned operations or a network of distributors throughout North America.
