Delaware taps Trapeze for ITS

Trapeze Group, a subsidiary of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Volaris Group Inc., signed a contract with Delaware Transit Corp. (DTC) of Dover, Del. for replacement of its legacy intelligent transportation system.

The Trapeze solution for DTC includes computer-aided dispatch and automatic vehicle location (CAD/AVL) technology integrated with their existing fixed-route and paratransit scheduling and operations management solutions from Trapeze. Also included are mobile dispatch, vehicle component monitoring, cellular data communication and a fixed-site network solution.

The DTC provides fixed-route and paratransit bus service statewide and is an operating division of the Delaware Department of Transportation.
