TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — With funds received from the Federal Transit Administration and the Indian Reservation Roads Program, the Cherokee Nation recently purchased three new buses, at $60,561 per vehicle, Indian Country Today reports.
The Cherokee Nation recently wrapped the buses with branded decals to heighten public awareness of the Nation's role in a partnership with KATS Transit and Pelivan to provide transportation. For the full story, click here.
