NEWARK, N.J. — NJ.com reports that, despite opposition from many residents, the New Jersey Department of Transportation (N.J. DOT) supports Princeton University's plans for an arts and transit neighborhood on the western edge of its campus. The plans would involve moving the Dinky train station 460 feet south of the present station.

N.J. DOT Commissioner James S. Simpson said an agreement dating back to the 1980s allows the university to move the Dinky station. For the full story, click here.
