BoltBus recently celebrated another major milestone by officially carrying its three-millionth passenger.
"BoltBus has succeeded beyond our expectations," said David Hall, GM, BoltBus. "In less than three years, three million people have experienced the incredible amenities and value of BoltBus, and we look forward to serving many more in the years ahead."
BoltBus launched in March 2008 with a fleet of new motorcoaches that feature extra legroom, power outlets and free Wi-Fi service — as well as one-way fares starting as low as $1. The service quickly developed a passionate following among daily commuters, tech-savvy travelers and weekend vacationers.
Earlier this year, BoltBus hit the two million mark less than seven months after the announcement of the service's one-millionth passenger, signifying the remarkable growth and popularity of the curbside carrier.
BoltBus currently provides express service between New York and the following locations: Baltimore; Boston; Cherry Hill, N.J.; Greenbelt Park & Ride, Md.; Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
