Activist calls transit too reliant on U. of Ga. students

ATHENS, Ga. —  An activist campaigning for lower fares on the county's transit system says Athens Transit has relied too heavily on University of Georgia students and employees whose fares are subsidized rather than working to attract other riders, the Athens Banner-Herald reports.
