ABC, its employees and business partners have raised $10,730 for a contribution to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund for relief efforts to benefit the earthquake damaged country. This fund was selected specifically by ABC because 100 percent of donations will go directly to reliable charities on the ground in Haiti working with survivors to rebuild.

In addition to the company's fund raising efforts, ABC with customer Endeavor Bus Co. teamed up to coordinate transportation with No Time For Poverty, which moved medical professionals and supplies out of the U.S. and into Haiti at the height of the country's emergency state.

The company also announced that DC Trails, of Lorton, Va., made the winning bid for a M1235 mid-sized coach donated by ABC Companies in the American Bus Association's Live Auction. The three-day "silent auction" was concluded January 19 on the floor of ABA's Annual Marketplace in National Harbor, Md.

The Auction benefits the ABA Foundation, which will be awarding 19 $2,500 scholarships to deserving students working toward degrees related to travel and tourism, as well as providing university research grants, industry internship programs and underwriting scientific research.
