Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) has received three awards from the Washington chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) as part of the organization’s 2009 Engineering Excellence awards competition.

 

The firm received a gold award in the studies, research and consulting engineering services category for its work on Sound Transit’s Regional Transit System Plan. PB also received a silver award in the transportation category for its work on the South Lake Union Streetcar. Both the Regional Transit System Plan and the South Lake Union Streetcar were recognized in the “national track” competition.

 

In the “local track” competition, PB received a gold award for the Fremont Bridge Approach Replacement in the category of original or innovative application of new or existing techniques.
