Kelley Coyner joins Stantec as Mobility Innovation Leader.
Coyner’s global position will create productive partnerships across public, private, and nonprofit organizations. She will coordinate to ensure safety and transparency that is essential to advancing smart mobility.
She will build upon her work with advanced mobility initiatives at CityTech Collaborative and the City of Chicago, Ulupono Initiative in Hawaii, AAA of North California, Munich Re of North America, APTA, and the American Planning Association.
Since 2017, she has been CEO of her own firm, Mobility e3 (Me3). She is a key player in the development, funding, and assessment of many major autonomous vehicle pilot projects across the U.S. Her team has done extensive smart mobility planning for several global communities and companies.
Her experience stems from a long line of positions held in public infrastructure and transportation associations.
Coyner will collaborate with Stantec to assess and create mobility solutions that solve the needs of communities through a holistic approach, that integrates with smart cities strategies.
Stantec continues to explore smart mobility. Having launched and worked on early AV and CV testbeds, it was the first firm to bring autonomous vehicles to North America through the GoMentum Station testbed in Concord, Calif. The firm has also engaged in feasibility studies and AV transit shuttle planning and pilots across the U.S.
