VANCOUVER — The Seattle Times reports that a C-TRAN passenger was arrested after telling a bus operator he had a gun pointed at her head and demanded to be driven to Portland, Oregon.

The male passenger and female driver were the only people on the bus, with the driver able to hit an emergency alarm at some point and telling dispatchers what was happening through an open microphone, C-TRAN officials told The Times.

The dispatchers notified police, who later caught up with the bus and set up spike strips that the operator drove over. For the full story, click here.
