Litens Automotive Group unveils new heavy-duty OAD

Litens Automotive Group, a global OE supplier headquartered in Canada, unveiled their newest heavy-duty OAD (overrunning alternator decoupler) pulley, also known as “The Monster" throughout the industry.

Litens is the OE supplier of OAD pulleys that are currently supplied throughout the light and heavy-duty market segments. 

Features include fuel economy gains of up to 5% and belt and tensioner calming response. A five-minute installation translates into the elimination of accessory drive belt breakage and less engine component maintenance.

One global OE bus manufacturer will equip the majority of its Cummins L9 engines with the Monster OADs — this model year, according to the company.

The Monster OAD™ is available for immediate retrofits from the following aftermarket distributors in Canada and the U.S.:  Elreg, Mondial, ESS, B&C and Romaine Electric.
