PROVO, Utah — With more than 350 names submitted for consideration by the public, the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) approved is naming its new Provo-Orem bus rapid transit (BRT) project the Utah Valley Express, or UVX, The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
UTA had narrowed the field down to three finalists — Utah Valley Express, Timp Runner, and Timp Express — with UVX winning 520 or 950 votes. The winning name will now be forwarded to the board for final action. For the full story, click here.
