European mobility startup FlixBus is expanding its business into the U.S. market.
An expansion to the U.S. for the long-distance green bus service platform would be the first time FlixBus makes itself available outside of Europe.
A Los Angeles-based team is preparing FlixBus for potential entry in the U.S.
FlixBus currently operates 1,500 green buses in 26 countries and carried about 40 million passengers in 2017. Along with transportation services, FlixBus features an international booking platform, data and demand-driven network planning, a dynamic pricing system, push notifications via mobile app, and GPS-live-tracking of the FlixBuses.
