TransitScreen, a public information company for smart cities, launched MobilityScore, a website that measures access to buses, trains, taxis, ridesharing, bikesharing, and carsharing.

The website is designed for people who have just moved to a new neighborhood or city, or those making plans for an upcoming trip. By scoring various types of transportation in a city, MobilityScore aims to inform users the best way to travel without a car.

The website provides a numerical transportation score ranging from zero, no available mobility choices, to 100, excellent mobility choices, to any address within the U.S. and Canada, beginning with the 165 million residents of the top 35 urban regions.

MobilityScore includes all transportation services found on TransitScreen's public information displays.
