The president of the French Republic appointed Catherine Guillouard to president and chief executive of RATP at a council of ministers meeting.
Guillouard started her career at the treasury department of the French Economy Ministry before moving to Air France for 10 years, where she served as deputy VP for flight operations, deputy VP for human resources and executive VP of finance. In 2007, Guillouard became chief financial officer at Eutelsat Communications and accordingly a member of the executive committee. In 2013, she joined Rexel as CFO before becoming its deputy chief executive officer in 2014.
Guillouard is a member of the Board of Directors of Engie and Airbus and previously served on the Board of Directors of Aéroports de Paris. She is a graduate of the ENA and Sciences Po Paris, and also holds a DESS postgraduate degree in EU law.
