Proterra announced Wednesday that Amy Ard has joined the electric vehicle manufacturer's management team as chief financial officer.

Ard is appointed to the position with over 20 years of experience in finance and manufacturing, both in private and public sectors. Ard will be responsible for aligning Proterra's finances with the company's engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and operations goals.

Prior to serving with Proterra, Ard worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group, where she accrued corporate finance experience, built teams, managed cash flow for large projects.
