Thomas Built Buses, its employees, and parent company Daimler Trucks North America have made a donation of $300,000 to the United Way of Greater High Point, N.C. Funds will be distributed through the United Way to local organizations in need.

“Our employees continually go above and beyond when it comes to giving back to our community,” said Thomas Built Buses President/CEO Caley Edgerly. “This year, our employees raised $150,000 for the United Way, and this amount was matched dollar for dollar by our parent company, Daimler Trucks North America. We are happy to give back to the community that has supported our company and employees for the past 100 years.”

“We are so grateful for the generous contribution of Thomas Built Buses and their employees,” said Bobby Smith, president of United Way of Greater High Point. “Thomas Built Buses has been a top donor in our community for many years, and this year, their $300,000 donation is one of the highest donations to the United Way of Greater High Point. These funds will make a huge impact in our community.”
