Transdev announced it will begin operations for Anaheim Resort Transportation’s (ART) 22-route system linking local tourist destinations throughout the Anaheim Resort District and surrounding areas.

ART serves as a critical connection for visiting tourists and thousands of employees who live and work in the area. The company is currently working to ensure a smooth transition when it begins operations on Dec. 1 as peak tourism season begins. In 2015, ART served 6.7 million passengers.

“ART provides important links to fun, excitement and leisure at countless attractions around the Anaheim resort area. It also helps mitigate traffic in this busy travel destination,” said Katrina Heineking, VP of Transdev’s Southwest Region.

ART and a fleet of 88 vehicles connect 72 area hospitality and employment establishments with local destinations and attractions such as Disneyland Resort, The Outlets at Orange, Disney’s California Adventure, Christ Cathedral, Downtown Disney District, Anaheim Convention Center, The Honda Center, Knott’s Berry Farm, Medieval Times Dinner Theater, Pirates Dinner Adventure and Discovery Science Center.
