SEATTLE – In a blog post, Uber’s Pacific Northwest GM Brooke Steger endorsed Seattle’s massive light rail expansion measure, Sound Transit 3, which will appear on this November’s ballot, The Stranger reports.

“Here in Seattle, we have evidence that it’s possible for the use of rideshare and mass transit to significantly grow simultaneously,” Steger said. “This is good news from our perspective, but it’s perhaps even better news that the circumstance is not unique.” For the full story, click here.

The $54 billion ballot measure would add 62 miles of light rail with stations that would serve 37 new areas and grow the system to 116 miles.
