CHICAGO — The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) removed at least one Red Line "L" train to be cleaned after a rider reported a bed bug sighting on a southbound train and posted their experience on Reddit, DNAinfo reports.

In a horror-tinged post to the Chicago section of Reddit, the rider posted a "PSA" to warn commuters of an apparent bed bug or lice infestation after spotting some small, white bugs on his seat and clothing. The post described the sighting as "30-plus small, white bugs crawling around a row of six seats."

As part of the CTA’s protocol, the agency pulled the railcar after the incident was reported for inspection and cleaning. For the full story, click here.
