JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Two days after overhead catenary wires were yanked down when a dump truck lowered its bed, NJ TRANSIT’s Hudson-Bergen Light Rail system is continued running on a modified schedule Wednesday, The Jersey Journal reported.
Trains are running every 30 minutes "until further notice," NJ TRANSIT officials said in an advisory, which also noted that crews are continuing to repair the power lines. A spokesman for the agency said there is still no timetable for the repairs to be completed. For the full story, click here.
