STORRS, Conn. — After receiving complaints regarding the volume/genre of the music played from passengers, the University of Connecticut’s  (UConn) Transportation Services removed radios from all 19 of its passenger buses at the beginning of October, The Daily Campus reported.

The move was also made to “reduce potential distractions in the bus,” according to a UConn spokesperson, who added the updated policy is a product of the times, with so many students that ride the bus already listening to whatever music they want on their cellphones.
