WASHINGTON, D.C. — A survey conducted by KRC Research found that listening to somebody talk on their cell phone is the biggest pet peeve of Americans riding on public transportation, WTOP reported.

The online survey also found that 46% of public transportation users are bothered by passengers who don’t offer their seats to others who need them more, such as someone with a disability or senior citizen and 41% are disturbed by people who eat a messy meal while riding a bus or train.
