PARIS — Tour operators are protesting a new parking fee system in Paris that will impose steeply higher rates on motorcoach companies that don’t adhere to the European Union’s latest emission standards, Travel Weekly.

Starting May 1, the price of half-day and full-day parking passes for motorcoaches in Paris will triple, but according to Atout France, the France Tourism Development Agency, vehicles that meet the latest E.U. emission standards for trucks and buses will not see an increase.
