MCI's CNG commuter coach

PEMBINA, N.D. — Every 3.6 hours or so, 10 hours a day, 4 days a week, a shiny, new 45-foot CNG commuter coach rolls out of Motor Coach Industries' factory in Pembina, N.D., Grand Forks Herald reported.

These vehicles are part of a 150-vehicle coach contract being delivered to New Jersey Transit, of which MCI has already has delivered about one-third, according to Rick Heller, MCI president/CEO.

"2014 was a very successful year for us, very successful," Heller said. "We were very profitable," he adds, crediting the company's workforce at its plants.
