SEATTLE — Two men were convicted in a King County court for removing 4.3 miles of copper wire from the Sound Transit light rail system, reported the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

The pair reportedly used bolt cutters to detach the copper wire, entering maintenance hatches in a tunnel that runs below the elevated stretch of the light rail between the SeaTac and Rainier Beach rail stops, from November 2010 through August 2011. For the full story, click here.
