Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. was awarded a contract from the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center) to provide monitoring and technical assistance for the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Grant and Loan Program.

The five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award task order contract has a maximum order limit of $70 million.

Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is working with the Volpe Center to provide support to FRA grantees and borrowers in a variety of areas that include monitoring, technical assistance, compliance, program management, deliverable review and training.

The Volpe Center is a federal fee-for-service organization within the United States Department of Transportation’s Research and Innovative Technology Administration. The center partners with public and private organizations to assess the needs of the transportation community, evaluate research and development endeavors, assist in the deployment of state-of-the-art transportation technologies, and inform decision- and policymaking through comprehensive analysis.
