CHICAGO —  Hundreds of Amtrak passengers were rescued Tuesday after being stranded overnight on board three Amtrak trains that were crippled by snow and ice outside of Chicago, ABC News reported.

More than 500 passengers were affected by the delay caused by engines being paralyzed when the trains hit a 12-foot snow drift Monday afternoon, according to the report. For the full story, click here.
