ATLANTA — Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) officials are working to clean up the image and odor of its transit station elevators by testing a urine detection system, WSB-TV Atlanta reported.

If a person relieves her or himself, the urine detection system sensors sound an alarm alerting MARTA police. Since implementation of the pilot program, which has been in place for a month, the daily problem dropped to one incident, in which an arrest was made, according to the report.
