OTTAWA, Ontario — The Ottawa Sun reported that the city's light rail transit system, which is currently under construction, will feature a $25 million automated fare system with ticketing vending machines.

Additionally, the system will use turnstiles for major stations and replace Transpo personnel with computer help stations that will offer basic transit tips and let riders speak to an attendant, according to the report. For the full story, click here.
