U. of La. Lafayette names new transportation director

LAFAYETTE, La. — The University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s parking and transit department changed its name to the office of transportation services and named Cheri Soileau as its new director, reported The Advocate.

Soileau previously worked as a senior transit planner for the Denton County (Texas) Transportation Authority and planned and scheduled bus routes, including nine university shuttles for the University of North Texas and a commuter rail line with three million riders annually.
