WASHINGTON, D.C. — A survey conducted by the Transportation Planning Board (TPB) found that the communities around Greater Washington want more transit and walkable places, according to Greater Greater Washington.

The TPB survey, conducted during the process of creating a Regional Transportation Priorities Plan, contacted 10,000 randomly selected people in 13 cities and counties in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia to ask them what their transportation challenges were on a day-to-day basis.
