LOS ANGELES — More University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) commuting students and employees are seeking out alternative transportation methods such as public transit, carpooling, vanpooling, bicycling and walking to get to campus, according to a report released by the university. Stand-alone driving for students is just more than 25% and less than 53% for employees. On the other hand, 72% of all Los Angeles commuters drive to work, reported The Daily Bruin.
