PORTLAND, Ore. — TriMet is looking into an incident involving a bus driver forcing a mother and her four children off a bus in the rain earlier this month, KGW News Channel 8 Portland reported.

According to a 911 dispatch log obtained by KGW, the incident started as a dispute over an expired fare. However, even after the passenger paid the correct fare amount the driver still ordered the woman and her children off the bus “because she was already four minutes late and did not want people crying on the bus.” The bus driver has been placed on paid leave during the investigation.
