HOUSTON — Upon completion in 2014, Houston Metro's Southeast light rail line expansion could be ferrying thousands of people to and from the University of Houston (UH) and Texas Southern University (TSU), which proponents say will boost the allure of schools and city alike.
Plans call for the Southeast line to have three stations serving the TSU and UH areas and, according to projections from Metro, those stations would have 4,500 boardings a day in 2030, reported the Houston Chronicle.
