ORANGEBURG, S.C. — Despite scathing audits and losing its designation as one of the country’s federal transportation centers, South Carolina State University will continue to push forward with building the James E. Clyburn University Transportation Center, according to the Independent Mail.
Even with severe budget issues, the university continues to hold aside $1.6 million from its 2012-2013 budget for construction of the next building in the troubled complex.
